I'm proud to be a wife, mother, and grandmother. I was born in California and have been in Arizona for thirty-six years. I have been married to my husband Van for forty-two years and we have five children and twelve grandchildren that I love and love to spoil a lot.

My passion is to love on all the children and families at TCPS and TNC. It is a privilege to learn all their names and to see how they grow up here learning about Jesus. I always tell the children Jesus is my best friend and he can be yours also. I started at the church in 1983 and I have been the Preschool Director since 2001.

My favorite things are shopping, chocolate, and coffee.

My favorite Bible Verse is Proverbs 3:5–6

Cassie has been in the field for over 22 years. She holds many certificates in early childhood. She has been working at Tempe Christian Preschool for 11 years. She is honored to be part of the TCPS program that makes such a positive influence on early education in our community.

Cassie and her husband, Bill have been married for eight years and have a 7-year-old and 3-year-old to keep them on their toes and always teaching them new things. She has a deep passion for early literacy and is always looking for a good book to expand her collection and share with her fellow teachers at TCPS.

Outside of work Cassie enjoys reading, swimming with her family and she also loves to craft and being creative. Her favorite Bible Verse is John 4:19 “We love because He first loved us.” She finds this captures her passion for early childhood education, and how she parents her own children.

    JERIMEE AARON, ASSISTANT DIRECTOR

    JERIMEE.AARON@TEMPECHRISTIANPRESCHOOL.ORG

My name is Jerimee Aaron, and I am excited for the opportunity of serving here at TCPS. I previously worked for the Tempe Elementary School District for 5 years in a special education program called SPARK. My wife Jessica and I have been married for over 15 years, and we have 3 children who have all attended TCPS at some point in their life.

I have worked for TCPS two other times, the first as a 4’s assistant with the wonderful Mrs. Betty Gifford, and the second time as an administrative assistant. I have also attended Tempe Nazarene Church for the last 25 years where I have served in many ministries including both the children’s and youth departments. One of my passions is music so naturally I have served in the TNC worship ministry for many years where I sing, play drums, and the piano. I also love spending time with my extended family and friends, visiting the zoo with my children, attending my children's sporting events, and I enjoy a good Hallmark movie when I get the chance.

    COURTNEY vitch, NUTRITION MANAGER

    COURTNEY.VITCH@TEMPECHRISTIANPRESCHOOL.ORG

I worked as a personal trainer in San Diego for many years, and always loved helping people live healthier lives. I went back to school in 2015 to become an NDTR (nutrition and dietetic technician, registered). During my coursework I learned about the impact I could make working in early education by teaching kids that nutritious foods can be yummy and exciting.

I’ve been working at TCPS since the beginning of the 2018–2019 school year. I create and shop for the snacks we serve each day and am working on improving our nutrition policies to make sure the children are getting healthy foods each day. My favorite part of my job is finding new items to serve for snack and getting into the classrooms to see which healthy foods the children are enjoying.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love running local races, taking my family to the zoo, and finding new recipes to try.
