heart YOUR SCHOOL

There are so many ways to show your love for TCPS! Parents are enthusiastic about their little's experience with us and we invite all family of friend of the community to get involved in a variety of ways—giving of time, talents, and resources. To see all we have planned as well as school closures, check out our Calendar.  Also don't forget to follow us on Facebook!

Ways to get involved (at any level!):

  • Give back while you grocery shop by linking your VIP card with Fry's Community Rewards!
  • Volunteer with the Parent Action Community (PAC), whose mission is to enrich the experiences of the TCPS community. Email us to join a planning committee, participate at an event, or donate your talents to the school.
  • Looking for a tribe of moms to connect with? Join our MOPS Chapter at their next meeting!

Additional info on PAC (Parent Action Community) and MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) below.

PARENT ACTION COMMUNITY [PAC]

TCPS PAC is a group of involved parents taking action to enrich the experiences of all TCPS students, teachers, and families through community involvement.

  • We value each member of the TCPS community.
  • We value positivity, encouragement, and loving support of our community.
  • We value each contribution from our community, no matter the size.
  • We value achievable objectives over lofty goals.
  • We value clear roles and responsibilities, with personal accountability.
  • We value having a large team by creating volunteer opportunities with differing levels of commitment.

mothers of preschoolers [mops]

We've all been placed in this time and place in history, as the tribe of women who are raising the world. We know we mother better together, so all moms are welcome at MOPS. From the time you get pregnant to when your kiddo is in Kindergarten, our doors are open.

A MOPS meeting includes practical teaching through speakers, demonstrations, and videos. But more importantly, you'll get to have honest conversations with other moms who understand the joys and frustrations of motherhood.
